Discover the brilliance, potential and variety to be found in perry. For the first time ever the full international story of perry – the drinks world’s best kept secret – is told in Adam Wells’s groundbreaking book, Perry: A Drinker’s Guide.In this Manchester launch of the book and perry tasting Adam will introduce us to a snapshot of some of the styles and flavours of perry and some of the varieties of pears that are used to produce it. He’ll also chat about some of the key producers of perry and the regions and countries where it is produced. Today’s perry producers are making better, more exciting full-juice perries than have ever been available before.
