New Venue: Balance Brewery Taproom, 10 Sheffield St, Manchester M1 2ND – near Piccadilly Train Station.
This month, we have Albert Johnson up from Ross on Wye who helped us launch Manchester Cider Club in March 2019 returning annually. Ross cider, run by the Johnson family at Broome Farm, has been making cider & perry since the 1930s. Dad Mike Johnson has won several awards and is incredibly welcoming and unassuming; and over the years has mentored and taught many cidermakers throughout the world.
Join Albert on Thursday 10th April as part of ‘The 2025 Ross on Wye cider & perry tour.”
We will be tasting 6 different ciders:
- Chance of rain (keg)
- Kingston Black (Broome Farm)
- Kingston Black Hill Farm (LP sourced fruit)
- Gin Pear
- Moorcroft
- Sneak preview of an unreleased cider!
Tickets are priced at £20 inclusive of cheese plates!
