A variety grown and used for perry making in the Three Counties region of Britain as early as 1662. Barland pear trees are tall, thin and vigorous, producing a heavy crop many years, and seem to be a remarkably healthy tree to have endured all this time. The perry of the 2022 vintage has good body, with some delicate top of the mouth acidity and then some delicious, grippy tannins. 500ml. 6%.
