Description
A native Herefordshire pear, identified by the legendary Herbert Durham during the 1920s. In 2022, we saw one of the sunniest and hottest summers of recent memory and that has boosted the natural sugar in the pear, giving us around 1% extra alcohol than normal! The flavour is lightly acidic and gentle, with green herbal notes. And thanks to the growing conditions, this vintage has a more citrussy quality than earlier years, with a distinct lemon and lime fruity flavour. Eminently quaffable. 500ml. 6.8%.
