Hagloe Crab is a brilliantly refreshing, ‘sharp’ cider apple; a historic variety that was celebrated in local Ross on Wye cidermaking circles from as early as the 1720s. Although in the 20th century the variety was almost lost, its revival is a source of real delight for us at the farm.
