Highly expressive perry, from an exceptional vintage year for making this luscious perry. Made in small individual single varieties and blends, the team at Wilding sourced the very best pears around including varieties like Moorcroft, Yellow Huffcap, Taynton Squash, Barland and Pine and more.
This is heady on the nose and palate. Nose of burnt honey, baked pear, quince and rosemary. The tannins sit lightly on the tongue and help with the structure, the mouthfeel is luscious and very elegant, the sweetness pairs well with the fullness of the aromas. An opulent perry for nice dinners.
A hugely ripe, full and elegant expression of an exceptional (once in 50 year?) vintage. Still medium sweet perry. 750ml. 7.2%.
