Topping Out 2021 “The Timber Framers’ Favourite”
This was our favourite cider when working our 300 year old oak barn frame. Topping out is the ceremony of putting a freshly cut branch (in our case apple) on the last beam of a construction. This was cider that we toasted to celebrate.
We think it’s hard to improve on our S.V. Kingston Black, but we may have just done it with this barnstorming Kingston Black/Jonagold blend.
On the nose, baked apple, vanilla and nutmeg. On the pallet profound tannins brightened by the Jonagold desert fruit. A vibrant interplay between tannins and fruitiness. 750ml. 6.7%.
