Our Monsters beers are parti-gyles brewed with a fraction of the rich, brewing process. This means more concentrated sugars that ferment into some hefty beers, with a much richer malt character than the beer which the rest of the wort becomes. We hop and ferment them accordingly!
This beer has been brewed to a 1917 recipe for Courage’s Imperial Stout. The second half became a dark mild, which we had to call Discretion. 500ml. 7.1%.
